Ringing in the 4th at The Midway with Kiss Me Deadly and more!

Spunky Frank opened up with his heartbroken tales of woe and mow as the sparse crowd filed in. Up next was Cleveland's Kiss Me Deadly , basically a power trio Jen Poland on vox, guitar and mandolin, Evan Lieberman on bass and vox and finally Madelyn Hayes on vox and drums. They were touring thru and rocked the crowd with their upbeat sounds. Really liked the song "Fire" cool fun band. Then came the dry wit and music of Taylor Keefe, well received for sure mentioning his respect for playing on a sacred holiday. Then we came out shorthanded but Kitty stepped up and did more vocals and it was another fun night. Then up came Bed X Nine which is pronounced (Bed Times Nine) so doing a midnite set was past normal bedtime for sure. They rocked a lot of classic songs from Alice Cooper to Ringo Starr that closed out a musically diverse night.
