Cady's Tavern has been out there in Chepachet RI since 1810 More informaion on Chepachet RI
The patrons had a lot of RI pride too (none of this I have even attempted to verify if its true so be forewarned this could be total BS, but I think it is true which is why I am repeating it) the Tavern was a stage coach stop between Chepachet and what is know known as Worcester MA. And it makes sense too as right up the road on Route 44 is the entrance to 395 which used to be route 52 to Worcester.
One of the folks told us that at one point in RI history it was between Chepachet and Providence for the state capital. The town also has the oldest candy store but its a dispute between a place in Newport RI. The bar is a place that makes you feel right at home, great food too. We settled in quick and the people were very nice to perform for. Hope to see y'all there again!
