The band arrived in Vegas and we headed over to The Golden Spike right near the entrance to Fremont Street Experience. The hotel is Adults only and with lobby being a cool bar and night club with games and outdoor patio party area what a fun place to stay with no Casino. No worries Fremont Street is loaded with Cool Casinos like the historic Golden Nugget , Binions, The Fremont, Four Queens and Golden Gate. and for those who have never been the crowd is much younger than the strip, it is like a street block party. Multiple stages with live music and the dancing DJ spinning classic rock outside of The D Bar that invites guests to enjoy beer, specialty cocktails as talented bartenders send bottles of alcohol and assorted bar glasses flying through the air. While enjoying your drink, you can enjoy the amazing Dancing Dealers who also put on a show at the table games. Kenny and Dickson Hogg really raved about it. While other Hoggs running wild elsewhere.
Fremont Street also brought back memories of deals no longer on the strip like Prime Rib Dinner at Tony Romas for $8.99. Or Binions $11.99 Chicken Cutlet Dinner . CJ5 Hogg got a huge kick of this billboard with our new album title Get Hammered with a different spelling.
As my friends know I am a big fan of Hot Dogs, Wieners, Coney and Chili Dogs and right on Fremont you can experience Detroit Style Coneys @ American Coney Island. The chain is out of Detroit this is the busiest location they have for sure.
I had a pair of these puppies that you can also get with cheese if you want to deviate from the standard comes with and kind of make it like a Skyline Chili Dog.
They also sell what they call a loose burger that they described to me as a sloppy joe on a hot dog bun. I did not experience anybody there ordering one and I wasn't going to be the one to give it a try.
Friday came up fast and we headed over to The Happiest Place on Earth home of unique drinks like Ass Juice that you can ever get served in a Toilet glass you can bring home, or A bacon martini, puke insurance, or the one I always get a kick out of leprechaun piss, that is magically delicious. Also never a cover charge.

Nice crowd and we helped our new friends Sidewalk Slam from Oregon who needed to borrow microphones and cables and this happens since Double Down only provides a PA. They are a great LOUD show of Speed Punk. Lead Singer up front and Both guitarists and bass player also sang or thrashed vocals together. My ears were ringing.

Kenny, CJ5, me and Kenny hit the Pinball Hall Of Fame that has a new sign outside. We went there in September our last show in Sin City but that time one of our fill in drummers got thrown out of because he was told multiple times to obey Nevada State Mask Mandate that was just step one of him resigning thankfully from future gigs with us. This trip we arrived just as mask mandate was over.
Anyway the arcade games go back to the 1930's maybe earlier as well as new games.
and before heading back I decided to catch a Motown Tribute show at The V Theater called Hitzville with Kitty Hogg and this blurry photo we got on a Keychain with our attendance.
We had a blast listening to Jin-Jin Reeves and a cast of other talented entertainers revisiting some of the greatest Motown hits of all time of The 4 Tops, Martha & The Vandellas, Temptations, Supremes, Tina Turner and so many more.
