Afternoon Bash in Boston

After migrating the band to Louisville this was the 1st band performance in New England in 2+ years and what a great afternoon concert. Thanks to Heather at Tiny Oak Booking for setting this up. Our good friend J'sin Lynch of Slick Sharks opened up with a set with just him and his guitar. He did Slick Sharks theme song that I really love and J'sin without a doubt got the afternoon off in right direction. Next up was the amazing Yani Batteau and The Rodeo with an upbeat set that even included a well received sing along. Yani calls her music, ‘Americana Soul.' it's kind of Vintage Country, traditional folk and Appalachian music. She plays the banjo, nice picking. She was joined by Bass and Fiddle to bring her songs to life.

Then it was time for singer songwriter Kenny Seicer with Stephen L Gilligan (Blame The Whiskey) to play mostly songs Kenny wrote with lush harmonies and coordinated execution that made me pay attention. Bravo!

A selection from the set

What a great line up all these acts provided for our return and it was a special with me and Bo Hogg taking the trip into Boston to play this one with Kash Hogg, The Great JoeBob Hogg and JoeJoe Hogg all 3 who are in the upcoming ATTACK OF THE KILLER CHICKENS MOVIE. We even got joined by Singer Songwriter Hansen Barlow and performed his song "Domestic Short Hair"  together in front of the crowd quite pleased with hearing it.Thanks to all that came out.
